Performance Description: The Vanguard Combo is the flagship small group of the University of Northern Colorado's Jazz Studies Program and has won many awards as a group by its individual members for compositions, arrangements, and solos. Vanguard was directed by Jim White, then Drew Zaremba, and now by Erik Applegate.
