Performance Description: Leigh Pilzer's Seven Pointed Star features compositions and arrangements by leader/baritone saxophonist Leigh Pilzer. Along with baritone saxophone the septet includes trumpet, alto saxophone, trombone, piano, bass, and drums. The music ranges from straight ahead and swinging to more modern and contemplative.
