Sarah Reich is a celebrated tap dancer, choreographer, and composer from Los Angeles, recognized as a leader in modern tap dance. She has performed and taught in over 40 countries, aiming to elevate tap’s place in mainstream media with artistry and respect. Known for her work with Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, Sarah’s performances—such as The Tap Awakens and Thriller—have garnered millions of views on YouTube and led her to prestigious stages like Radio City Music Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. She has also appeared on television, including a PBS special filmed in Las Vegas.
Through her Tap Music Project, Sarah teaches tap dancers musicality, rhythm notation, and collaborative skills with live musicians. She continues to inspire young dancers on tour with the NUVO Dance Convention and is developing groundbreaking works, including her debut album New Change, which blends tap rhythms with jazz compositions. Driven by her passion, Sarah’s ultimate goal is to become the first tap dancer to win a Grammy Award.
