Andrew Wheelock, an active jazz drummer and percussionist, has performed with Bobby Shew, Chuchito Valdés, Joel Frahm, Jim White, and Ivan Trevino. Wheelock's latest projects include "Slow Play" by the Ben Markley Quartet ft. Joel Frahm, "Away from Home" with the Gonzalo Teppa Quintet , "Accidental Nomad" by the Dimitrije Vasiljevic Quintet.
Active as an jazz drummer, Afro-Cuban and, classical percussionist, and composer, Wheelock plays with a variety of musical groups through out the Denver and Ft. Colins area and all through the state of Wyoming. Wheelock currently serves as the percussion area coordinator at the Univerisity of Wyoming.
